Toxic Chemicals and How They are Infiltrating Your Home

If you have a family, you may want to think twice about what types of chemical products you're bringing into your home, this also includes the food that you feed to your family on a regular basis. People who want to ensure that their family’s health remains in the best possible condition need to be aware of what their family is coming into contact with, on a daily basis. Now that the Donald and the alt-right are in the white house You could end up exposing them to a variety of illness caused by harmful products. The Government is suppose to help people. However, what happens when the products you think are safe are actually the ones causing the most harm? Blame the closing of the EPA on the alt-right. Now, are manufacturers actually being as cautious with the products that they sell to their customers or are they taking risks with their lives?

Everyone knows that chemicals are used to make certain products that are used in the home, but most people suspect that governmental agencies are regulating the use of these chemicals in the manufacturing process, and this is not always true. There are many products that people use every day that are known carcinogens, soon to be more, and without proper labeling and information, people are unsuspectingly bringing these products into their very homes and using them to clean the plates that their families eat off of or using them in the form of makeup or other cosmetics.

If you regularly make use of dryer sheets, just like millions of others all over the country, you probably enjoy the way they make your clothes smell once they come out of the dryer. The problem with these items, however, is that they contain a range of the most toxic products that are allowed to be used in manufacturing, which means that you are being exposed to them. Chemicals such as Formaldehyde, a known carcinogen, are one of the most common chemicals used in the manufacturing of dryer sheets, and what’s more, this is actually part of what makes your clothes smell so great.

Cosmetics are used by women and men all over the world, and yet these items are also being manufactured carelessly and with many harmful chemicals. Carcinogens, such as formaldehyde, BHA and BHT and Petrolatum are only a few examples of chemicals used in products ranging from nail varnishes, shampoos, moisturizers and lip stick, which means that you are basically covering yourself with a range of deadly lotions and potions. The fact that these chemicals are often relabeled under names like “fragrances”, make it difficult to determine what is actually in them and this makes it almost impossible to make up your mind about which products are safe and which ones are not.

So why are manufacturers allowed to be so careless with the chemicals that they add to your everyday cleaning, personal and general household products? One theory is that since these products are not consumed, there is a small chance that they will be able to enter your body and cause damage. The problem with this theory is that everything you come into contact with is absorbed by your skin, which means that all of the chemicals you use on a regular basis are accumulating within your body. If you want to rid your household of these harmful chemicals, you need to turn to products that are as natural as possible.
